Advocating for Enhancing the Inherent Value of Patient Safety and Optimizing Surgical Outcomes.

Activize Inc. partners with leading medical manufacturers primarily focused on innovation and surgeon insights designed to universally simplify and expedite surgeries. Activize knows that marshaling its services in this noble interest, enhances patient safety, reduces patient trauma, patient suffering, improves patient outcomes, and saves facility costs.

Instruments:

Our team of healthcare support specialists offer universal hardware extraction technologies that has become ‘Standard of Care’ spanning national healthcare protocols.

Our clinician partners rely upon us for many of their surgical instrument challenges, customized needs, and standardization goal initiatives.

Infection Control and Safety:

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an urgent global public health threat resulting in over eight million deaths at a cost of over $1 trillion per year. In America, nearly three million antimicrobial resistant infections occur each year. Infectious microbes can lead to patient discomfort and sever complications due to dangerous proliferation of the more than ninety ‘superbugs’ that are resistant to modern antibiotic treatment. The toll of drug resistant infections has been steadily rising to a current rate of 70%.

Activize’s mission is to partner with technologies to improve patient outcomes with innovative chemistries and products that possess broad spectrum antimicrobial efficacy against biofilms, and antibiotic resistant bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores comprising these ‘superbugs’ that help better control, prevent and treat infectious diseases.

Our adoption of effective synthetic antimicrobial (‘SAM’) technologies are enhancing outcomes, advocating for post-operative patient safety, and revolutionizing tissue healing.

Utilization of cutting-edge solutions, like novel zwitterion surface technology, is dramatically reducing risk of infection associated with implanted medical devices.

Pain Management:

Over the course of the last nearly 40 years, Activize Inc. has maintained a passion and expertise for two things: Patient Post Op Pain Management Advocacy and Patient Post Op Safety Recovery.

Activize Soft Ice is our unique, safe, reproducible post operative opioid-sparing ergonomic Advanced Compression Cold Therapy technology that finally affords medical facilities and patients a pain management standardization program offering. Activize helped conceive an ease-of-use dry post-op healing system that streamlines cost-effective, long-lasting safe, constant, circumferential cold compression therapy for patient application in the PACU and Orthopedic floor setting—which has proven to be highly effective in changing lives through effective pain management.

In addition, we are partnering with KVET™ technology, an immersive virtual reality (VR) modality that promotes movement in the brain, teaching the patient out of pain. Through a combination of propriety visual feedback, gradual incremental movements, and simulated activities of daily living in a safe calming environment the technology assists the physician’s most difficult patient suffering with a new opportunity of hope for movement focused on improving function and quality of life.

Tissue Regeneration and Wound Healing:

Skin Grafts:

Amniotic and chorion-based graft products are helping people to heal and return to a normal, active function and quality of life. These technologies are derived from non-embryonic, non-aborted donor placenta tissue and are used across multiple medical specialties for tissue regeneration, wound healing, and ocular surface repair.  These grafts are processed to preserve growth factors, extracellular matrix components, and anti-inflammatory properties while ensuring safety through donor screening and regulatory compliance.

Wound Cleanser:

Wounds are messy environments. Blood, exudate, debris, and other contaminants can challenge HOCl products. A new FDA-cleared solution called ‘Spectricept™’ discovered and engineered by scientist Hoji Alimi, is blazing a new frontier in healthcare proven to be one million times more effective than traditional HOCl products. As the pioneer inventor of HOCl wash products several decades ago, Hoji has now engineered a proprietary formula called ‘Tri-lon Chemistry’. The formulation consists of a molecular multi-metal ionic complex (Zn, Cu, Fe), uniquely designed to enhance stability and maintain long lasting predictability and preservation of the benefits to support HOCl stability.

Many HOCl products start strong, but wound contaminants can rapidly reduce HOCl activity. Spectricept™ was engineered for predictability, using Tri-Ion Chemistry to support more consistent preservative concentration over time. Think of Spectricept™ as a continuous wound bed preparation tool. It helps clinicians cleanse, irrigate, moisten, and remove debris as part of their regular wound care protocol. Spectricept supports the cleansing and irrigation steps around debridement by helping remove debris from acute and chronic wounds. Spectricept™ fits naturally into repeated wound care touchpoints: initial cleansing, post-debridement cleansing, dressing changes, moistening, irrigation, and debris removal.

So clinicians are not just treating the wound once. They are actually now able to manage the wound bed over time both before and after debridement! Spectricept™ gives them a predictable cleansing and irrigation option they can build into ongoing standard of care! When you are cleansing, irrigating, moistening, or removing debris from a wound, you want the product to be predictable. Spectricept™ was designed to not replace debridement nor to treat infection but to offer a new level of confidence during those repeated wound care steps.
